The Empire Stove Archway 2300 turns an existing masonry fireplace into an EPA 2020 certified wood heater for larger homes or rooms, heating 500–2,100 ft² with up to 75,000 BTU/h from a 2.4 ft³ firebox, with the blower, one-lever air control, and air wash system included.
The Archway 2300 is designed for installation inside an existing masonry fireplace with a continuous 6" stainless steel chimney liner running from the insert to the top of the chimney. It is not approved for mobile home installation, and alcove installation does not apply. A liner system, block-off plate, floor protection, and other site-specific components are not included.
Rated to heat 500 to 2,100 ft², the Archway 2300 provides up to 75,000 BTU/h of maximum heat output from its 2.4 ft³ firebox and burns for up to 8 hours on a load of 20" logs, subject to installation and operating conditions.
The included blower, rated up to 144 CFM, mounts beneath the ash lip at the front of the insert and circulates heated air back into the living space instead of up the chimney.
This non-catalytic insert meets the EPA 2020 standard with an average particulate emission rate of 2.3 g/h and includes secondary combustion as a standard feature.
A single easy-to-use lever adjusts the burn rate, while hot air circulating across the 16 3/4" x 10 1/2" ceramic glass keeps the view of the fire clear through the single cast iron framed door.
The 5/16" thick steel top is designed for extended heat radiation and lasting durability. High-density firebricks line the firebox for insulation, and a high heat ceramic baffle is built to perform at high temperatures.
The Archway 2300 is finished in metallic black and completed with your choice of a black or nickel door overlay and a black steel surround in 29" x 44", 32" x 50", or 32" x 50" trimmable. An optional fire screen and a 5" fresh air intake kit are also available.
Per the Empire Stove 2026 price sheet, the Archway 2300 includes the blower and requires a door overlay and a surround, which are sold separately. One door overlay and one surround must be selected to complete the insert.
