Automatic Temperature Activation
The built-in snap-disc turns the blower on when the firebox reaches temperature and off as it cools, so you don’t have to. Typical switch range ~120°F on / 90°F off.

By moving hot air across the room, a blower helps reduce hot-and-cold spots and can shorten burner run time for the same comfort level.
