Made from kiln-dried sugar maple (hard maple), these smoking chips deliver a sweet, fruit-wood style smoke, similar to cherry, that enhances meats with a balanced flavor.
Great with ham, bacon, pork chops, chicken, salmon, arctic char, and trout—boosting sweet, mild smoke flavor on delicate proteins
Soak chips in water for at least 30 minutes, or for a deeper flavor, use apple juice, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, honey brown lager, or maple lager before smoking.
