Product Features

Heating Performance for 1,000–2,700 Square Feet

Rated to heat 1,000 to 2,700 ft², the Escape 2100 provides up to 110,000 BTU/h of maximum heat output from its 3.5 ft³ firebox, subject to installation and operating conditions.

EPA 2020 Certified Clean Combustion

This extra-large non-catalytic stove is EPA 2020 approved with an average particulate emission rate of 1.6 g/h and uses a stainless steel secondary-air system to support more complete combustion.

Extra-Large Firebox with 22" Log Capacity

The 22 7/8" x 20 1/8" firebox permits loading over its width and over its depth, accepts logs up to 22", and provides up to 10 hours of maximum burn time under applicable operating conditions.

Large Glass Surface with Airwash System

The single cast iron framed door carries an 18 3/8" x 12 1/8" ceramic glass surface, kept clearer by the integrated glass airwash system for a fuller view of the fire.

Pedestal Base with Ash Drawer and Convector Air Mate

The included pedestal integrates an ash drawer for simpler cleanup, and a convector air mate is included with the appliance.

Reinforced Heavy Duty Construction

Built with a 3/16" steel body and a heavy duty 5/16" steel top reinforced with a C-Cast heat shield, over a refractory brick-lined firebox with a high quality vermiculite baffle, backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Manufacturer Notes

  • Recommended heating area and maximum burn time may vary with location in the home, chimney draft, heat loss factors, climate, fuel type, and other variables.
  • Maximum heat output (dry cordwood) is based on a loading density of 15–20 lb/ft³; other performance figures are based on the standard test fuel load of 7–12 lb/ft³ at 19–25% moisture content.
  • Efficiency values are measured per the CSA B415.1-10 stack loss method; optimum heat transfer efficiency reflects the low burn rate (HHV).
  • Any installation must be done according to the data and drawings detailed in the owner’s manual.
