The smallest unit in its series, the Drolet Escape 1200 N heats 250–1,200 ft² with up to 75,000 BTU/h, combining non-catalytic EPA 2020 certified combustion at 1.7 g/h with NexBurn technology, a tertiary combustion zone, and a deeper ash-collecting firebox.
As the smallest unit in its series, the Escape 1200 N is rated to heat 250 to 1,200 ft² with up to 75,000 BTU/h of maximum heat output from its 1.85 ft³ firebox, subject to installation and operating conditions.
The Escape 1200 N includes its pedestal base, which measures 15 3/4" wide by 20 5/8" deep, for an overall stove height of 30 1/8".
This non-catalytic stove is EPA 2020 approved with an average particulate emission rate of 1.7 g/h and includes a stainless steel secondary-air system.
NexBurn technology ensures quick ignition and more complete combustion from front to back, while the addition of a tertiary combustion zone enhances performance.
The deeper firebox allows a greater accumulation of ashes, so the firebox can be emptied less frequently.
The 18 7/8" deep firebox loads over its depth, accepts logs up to 17", and provides up to 5 hours of maximum burn time under applicable operating conditions.
An integrated airwash system helps keep the 10 1/4" x 8 1/2" ceramic glass clearer for a better view of the flames through the single cast iron framed door.
The Escape 1200 N is certified for alcove installation and for mobile homes when equipped with a fresh air intake, installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. An optional blower of up to 100 CFM can be added.
The body is built from 3/16" steel with a 1/4" steel top reinforced with a stainless steel heat shield, over a refractory brick-lined firebox with a high quality vermiculite baffle, backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
