The Empire Stove WR5C classic brick refractory set lines the firebox of the St. Clair 4300 zero-clearance wood fireplace with moulded brick-pattern panels. The St. Clair 4300 installation manual lists the refractory panels among the components required for installation, sold separately from the fireplace.
High-density ceramic refractory lines the interior of the firebox for heat insulation and durability. Per the St. Clair 4300 manual, the refractory panels ship in a separate box to reduce the fireplace weight during transport and are installed after the fireplace is set up (Appendix 6).
