The Empire Stove WA5IN fresh air intake kit connects the Archway 1700 or Archway 2300 insert to outside combustion air through a 5" adapter mounted on either side of the unit.

Product Features
Outside Combustion Air
Per the Archway installation manuals, the intake adapter mounts to the side of the insert with four screws, the flexible pipe secures to the adapter with one clamp, and the other end secures to an outside wall termination that must be installed outside the home. On the Archway 1700, a cover plate supplied in the user manual kit closes the unused side.
Fireplace Opening Allowance
If a fresh air intake is required, Empire recommends adding at least 4" to the width of the minimum masonry opening of the hearth.

- The Archway inserts are not approved for mobile home installation; this kit provides outside combustion air for masonry fireplace installations.
- Compatibility is as listed in the Empire Stove 2026 price sheet. Any installation must follow the instructions supplied with the component and the appliance installation manual.
