The Empire Stove WS2344BL surround frames the Archway 2300 wood insert and covers the masonry fireplace opening around it, in a nominal 29" high by 44" wide black finish. Each insert requires one surround, sold separately from the insert.

Finishes the Fireplace Opening

The surround mounts to the front of the Archway 2300 and closes the gap between the insert and the masonry, giving the installation a finished look. Per the installation manual, the surround assembly consists of side panels and a top panel that attach to the insert’s faceplate extension.

Choosing a Size

Choose the surround that covers your fireplace opening; the Archway 2300 also offers WS2350BL (32" x 50"), WS2350TBL (32" x 50" trimmable). The minimum masonry opening for the Archway 2300 is listed on the insert page.
